I've always been amused by RIAA's Superman-like attempt to fly around the world in reverse, in order to go back in time. The latest bit of drama involves the fact that RIAA suggests that students who have been slapped with a fine for posession and transmission of illegal mp3s and who can't pay their fine, simply drop out of college to pay the pipper. |

So far I must say that I have been enjoying my iPod nano. I really do like the way it remembers to resume where you’ve left off while listening to audiobooks. However, I can’t say the device doesn’t have a number of annoying peculiarities. Such as:
Why must it completely lock up every other day? My Nomad Zen used to do that once every few months, and I used to consider that a bit unstable.
Also, why does it lose all of the album art of every song loaded on the iPod from time to time? Or for that matter, why does it occasionally get the album art mixed up? The art is embedded into the MP3 file itself... it can’t be that hard to remember which image goes with which song.
But other than that, yes, it’s a nifty product—very small and light—quite handy. Just a bit buggy. |
